Dyson Outdoes Itself Again, Makes World's Most Expensive Fan

Dyson Air Multiplyer I don't like Dyson.  They over hype their vacuums, and tout their horrible hand dryer like it's the second coming of Jesus.  So I wasn't surprised that they were over hyping something yet again.  

I was surprised when it turned out to be a $300 10" fan.  Who in their right mind is going to buy this?  Especially when the tech behind it is so stupid.  A compressor feeding air through a ring?  Granted, it's a unique idea as far as I can tell, but at over 10x the price of a normal fan, is ludicrous.
