SuperFoam is Like Regular Foam, but Bigger

 superfoam chair

"SuperFoam" is a creation of Rich Gilbert, and it's pretty awesome.  The concept is that you can design the foam structure to be more flexible in certain areas (by using larger or smaller spherical gaps) making a more comfortable seat, but I just like the look of it.  The construction is also really unique, using balloons, and what seems like RTV urethane to create the open cell structure.  Unfortunately, information is sparse so I can't be sure of the material.

My Glowing Rectangle Has Better Resolution Than the Real World

glowing rectangle

Ahh The Onion, always funny, but usually just the headline/last sentence.  Not this time.  In fact, it actually makes a lot of valid points in its sarcasm.

Coming Soon From Logitech

Anvil RemoteThis is one of those "man, why didn't I think of that" moments.  I mean, it's just so simple and elegant: chain & weld your remote to a 1.5 foot long piece of crane rail (with an easy to carry handle on top!), and you won't lose it.  Truly genius.  The only thing that could make this better would be if it were a Logitech Harmony 1100 on the end of the chain.

Touch Sensitive Coffee Table Arrives, Time To Throw Out Your Puny Last Gen Table

ripple table

"The Ripple" table by Because We Can and Evil Mad Science is awesome.  480 LEDs, infrared cameras for touch detection, and a fully analog control unit make this table seem utterly jaw dropping to the geeks among us.  The fact that it's a coffee table that lights up insane fractal dot patterns when you touch it makes it even better for the drunks or infants among us.

Dyson Outdoes Itself Again, Makes World's Most Expensive Fan

Dyson Air Multiplyer I don't like Dyson.  They over hype their vacuums, and tout their horrible hand dryer like it's the second coming of Jesus.  So I wasn't surprised that they were over hyping something yet again.

I was surprised when it turned out to be a $300 10" fan.  Who in their right mind is going to buy this?  Especially when the tech behind it is so stupid.  A compressor feeding air through a ring?  Granted, it's a unique idea as far as I can tell, but at over 10x the price of a normal fan, is ludicrous.
